I'll take this as a calculated risk (it's a girl's phone so I don't think it will ever wander to the darker corners of the internet, let alone that she knows how to get there). Now the question is., how do I get this downloaded and working on the Ace without having to do the whole circus with changing to custom ROM etc.? I would like to keep the original OS due to possible issues with the seller and the warranty (there is already one problem which is a faulty proximity sensor that actually has to be fixed under that warranty). Beats the heck out of me as to why they would do this but from what I could read on the internet it happened around August 2012 and now this thing isn't any longer supported for the Ace and some other devices. I can't find a working Adobe Flash player on "Google Play" since it seems that Adobe has pulled the plug on that darn thing. I set it up for her since it was her first smartphone and it's all fine and good now. I just got my girlfriend the Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 as a Christmas present.
